A Seashell at the Top of a Mountain

In late August, a glacier collapsed high above the Nepal–Tibet border, sending ice, rock and water through the valleys below. Within minutes, entire communities were swept away. The disaster reminded me how quickly a landscape—and the lives rooted within it—can be altered beyond recognition.

Thank you, as always, for reading and for being part of this journey.

Warmly,
Lya
